After just 10 weeks together Cohort 24 presented their graduation performance.
The first piece of the evening was Trail, which was made by our dance artist Emma who was supported through this process by Luke Brown. The young people learnt this piece in just five days which was a huge achievement. The second piece, When Today Was Tomorrow, was created by Hannah with Company Wessex over the summer, the cohort first performed a version of this after just three weeks of working together. Both performances will leave you in no doubt that Cohort 24 have been on a remarkable journey and have worked so very hard to learn so much in such a short time.
Alongside the dancing we were also thrilled to return to Pilgrims Cross Primary School in Andover to deliver a dance workshop. It was wonderful for the young people to experience being a teacher for an hour!
It was another exciting cohort which marked the end of another busy year for us at the Academy and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who continues to support us.

You guys were amazing! I was so inspired watching your dances and videos showing your journey from start to finish. It taught me that really fun things in life lie on the other side of nervousness and fear, at least the things that really matter do. Well done!
